Carly & Thomas slipped away to the Buttery Kitchen in Bellingham Castle for a private little moment… and what started as “cake isn’t really a big deal for us” turned into one of the most fun, relaxed parts of their day 🤍

They still had the castle’s display cake out for guests (and even grabbed a photo with it!) but with plans to travel the following morning, they were happy to keep things simple.

But I couldn’t resist suggesting something a little different… a cool, one-tier, heart-shaped cake and a private cutting, just for them.

And honestly? It was magic. A chance to pause, laugh, have a breather together, and enjoy a gorgeous mini photoshoot — plus, of course, actual CAKE ✨

Rachel & Cian’s day was the kind that reminds you what weddings are truly about 🤍

Typical Irish weather greeted us on the Wexford coast — wet, wild and wonderfully windy — not a hint of the “Sunny South East” in sight. But not for a second did it dampen the joy, the laughter or the love that surrounded this beautiful couple.

From meeting on Bondi Beach to saying “I do” on an Irish shoreline, their story came full circle in the most meaningful way, with their two boys by their side and their nearest and dearest wrapped around them. Every supplier pulled together to make sure their vision came to life, no matter what the skies had planned.

It was precious, heartfelt and unforgettable — and I was so honoured to play a small part in it all. ✨

@bellinghamcastle is the kind of place that feels like stepping into a real-life fairytale – a historic Irish castle in the heart of County Louth(my home county), full of charm, character and incredible stories. ✨
From intimate ceremonies to full castle celebrations, it’s a dream setting for couples living in Ireland and for those travelling from all over the world for a destination wedding in an Irish castle. 🏰

Planning a wedding in 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 while living abroad can feel like a lot — but it really doesn’t have to be ✨

Rae first reached out to me asking about welcome packs I’d created for a previous bride at the same venue. From there, it transpired that Rae & Max were actually looking for 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 — and I’m so glad they did 🤍

Rae and Max along with their mums were so involved throughout the planning process. They still needed support with sourcing some suppliers, which I was happy to help with, and I also coordinated everything the night before the wedding. I even talked them through “the dip” which they absolutely nailed as the pictures prove 😍

On the wedding day itself, there were lots of different suppliers to manage, and my role was to make sure everything ran smoothly so Rae & Max could fully relax and enjoy their day — which they did 🥂✨

I had such a wonderful day with Jemma, Greg and their beautiful family at Ballymagarvey Village in July ✨

Jemma first reached out looking for some advice on venue selection, once herself & Greg got the venue secured we met for an in person planning consultation where we chatted for near two hours all about their dream wedding and what they hoped for. Following this I got staright to work on helping them secure their dream team of suppliers especially photo and video and they booked me in for on the day coordination 🥰 I really enjoyed every minute spent working on this wonderful wedding and I wish them both all my love and best wishes for a long happy life 🤍✨

After two years of planning, countless emails, voice notes, DMs, Zoom calls – and over 45,000 steps in two days – Carly & Thomas finally had their dream castle wedding. A true fairytale, surrounded by the people who matter most. 🏰 🇮🇪💍

What does a wedding planner actually do on the day? Here’s just some of it:

✨ Coordinate every single supplier’s arrival + setup
✨ Keep the couple calm, smiling, and stress-free
✨ Make sure the timeline runs like clockwork ⏱️
✨ Troubleshoot the unexpected (and you’d be surprised!)
✨ Keep everyone – from photographers to musicians – in sync
✨ Cue entrances, exits, speeches and special moments
✨ Fix dresses, ties, veils, bouquets… you name it
✨ Be the go-to for every guest question & request
✨ Create calm in chaos (aka, the secret sauce)
✨ Ensure the couple actually enjoy their day 🥂🤍

It’s not just about logistics – it’s about love, energy, care, and making memories. And I feel so lucky to do this job.

𝗔𝗹𝗶 & 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗻 💍 | 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰

What a day! These two beautiful souls came home from abroad to tie the knot in their hometown — but not in your typical wedding venue. Nope… they chose none other than the infamous 𝑆𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑡 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑒 in Dundalk! 🎶🍻

When Ali first reached out about turning the Spirit Store into a wedding venue, I’ll admit I had my doubts — but with an incredible team of local vendors, a whole lot of creativity, and a clear vision, we pulled it off. And what a transformation it was! ✨

The ceremony, hosted by the ever-fantastic Gareth Matthews, was filled with laughter, love, and the most endearing moments. Afterwards, photos were taken on the port with the Cooley Mountains in the background and then over to St. Helena’s Park for some dreamy portraits by the talented Danielle 📸

Then it was back to the Spirit Store for a feast from the always amazing Alan and the team at 𝐷’𝐿𝑖𝑠ℎ finished off with cake from local legends 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝐵𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑟𝑦 🎂

And as 𝑈𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑇𝑟𝑒𝑒 hit the stage, the party truly began — a night of dancing, celebration, and pure joy 💃🕺

What an honour to be part of this epic day! Congrats again Ali & Stefan 💕

Brenda & Michael tied the knot on a sun-drenched May bank holiday weekend ☀️ With a heartfelt ceremony in a nearby church, and a stunning celebration at @mpw_donnybrook it was a day full of love, joy, and pure magic.

From curling the flower girl’s hair, to helping Brenda into her dress, and taking all the pressure off their family – I was so honoured to be part of it all 💐

Thank you both for the kindest words – being described as “the best of the best” is something I’ll treasure forever 🥹
